Sometimes soaps build up to a couple, sometimes they shock us with one, and sometimes… well, they just throw two characters together and see what happens. That first one seems to be the case with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on General Hospital.
So, what’s the deal?
ADA Turner has made it her mission to take Sonny down, but how often does that actually work out? This wouldn’t be the first time an attractive woman came to Port Charles with plans to take Sonny to justice, and later somehow end up tossing all that right out the window for a romance with the man. Justine seems to be on that same slippery slope.
She’s sworn to take him down, and she’s been trying, but lately… things are getting interesting. The vibe is shifting, and fans are picking up on what could be the start of a very unexpected pairing. Some are all in. Some are cringing. And some are just watching it unfold with popcorn.
Sonny and ADA Turner in Today’s GH
In today’s episode of General Hospital, Sonny ends up helping Justine into the hospital after she gets injured during a game where her team lost to his. Apparently, she twisted her ankle. As he helps her out, they get a little time to talk about Sonny’s family. Was it all casual bonding? Or something more? Could it be that the show is sneaking in a little chemistry test?
Later, Justine’s hobbling around on crutches when Sonny shows up again, this time with a wheelchair and an offer to take her home. That once fiery banter between them is obviously getting a little softer, a little flirtier, and yeah… a little more personal.
So, is General Hospital really going there? Could Sonny and Turner actually become a thing? Will they end up doing the, you know what?
