A new soap is on the horizon and it’s in very good hands. Jamey Giddens who is well known to daytime fans for his work with Daytime Confidential is the upcoming soapy drama’s creator/executive producer alongside Will Packer. The upcoming OWN series is titled Ambitions and Robin Givens headlines the cast.
Givens who currently recurs as Dr. Phillips on The Bold and the Beautiful is set as the series lead in the role of Stephanie Carlisle. Michael Fairman reports, “Stephanie is the wife of Atlanta Mayor Evan Lancaster, whose true loyalty is to her own family’s prestigious law firm, where she is the latest in a long line of distinguished lawyers. Stephanie desperately wants to be in charge of the Carlisle family law firm and quietly fumes about her father Stephen’s condescending assertion that she’s simply not ready yet.“
