Nicolas Coster has died at the age of 89. His daughter, Dinneen Coster shared the sad news saying, “There is great sadness in my heart this evening, my father actor Nicolas Coster has passed on in Florida at 9:01pm in the hospital. Please be inspired by his artistic achievements and know he was a real actor’s actor! I will remember him as always doing his best and being a great father. Rest In Peace“.
Nicolas Dwynn Coster is a British-American actor best known for his work in daytime dramas and as a character actor on late-night television shows such as Wonder Woman, Buck Rogers in the Twenty-First Century, T. J. Hooker, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was born in London on December 3, 1933, to an American mother and a New Zealand father who was a theatrical critic and a marine captain. Coster grew up in the United States, mostly in California. He returned to the United Kingdom to pursue acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and also studied acting in New York City.
He played the roles of; Robert Delaney on Another World, Anthony Makana on One Life to Live, Steve Andrews on All My Children, Lionel Lockridge on Santa Barbara, Eduardo Grimaldi on As the World Turns and more. We send our love and condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.
