Pamela Bach, who originated the role of Mari Jo Mason on The Young and the Restless in 1994, has died at the age of 62. Bach was found dead at her home on March 5, 2025. Per a report from TMZ, her death is being ruled a suicide.
Born on October 16, 1963, Bach was from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was the second of three daughters. She attended Tulsa East Central High School and studied Engineering/Theatre Arts at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. Bach moved to Los Angeles in 1985 and would later meet her now ex-husband David Hasselhoff (ex-Dr. Snapper Foster, Y&R).
She worked together with her husband on the long-running series Baywatch and she had a recurring role as a psychologist in the series Sirens. Bach also participated in the 2011 UK reality TV show/competition Celebrity Big Brother 8, in which she placed 9th.
Bach and Hasselhoff were married in December 1989 and had two daughters, Taylor and Hayley. Hasselhoff filed for divorce in January 2006. Soap Opera News sends our condolences to the family and friends of Pamela Bach during this difficult time.
