The Bold and the Beautiful

Bold was back with a bang this week! Bill begged for Katie’s forgiveness after his transgression with Brooke. However, Katie let her heartbreak be known and told Bill that they needed to talk to Will about their separation and how they might not get back together this time. Wyatt was concerned when he came home to find the house in disarray. Sally covered herself by saying she fell while getting ready to leave for a doctor’s appointment. Liam told Steffy that she needed to take more time for herself. Flo awoke tied to the radiator in Sally’s apartment. Ridge was impressed with Zoe’s pitch for the Hope For The Future line and recognized her desire to do more at Forrester than modeling.

Penny and Flo were shocked by Sally’s new plan to seduce Wyatt and become pregnant with his child. Flo took the opportunity to send a plea for help when she grabbed Sally’s leg causing her to fall and hit her head, knocking her out. She grabbed a marker leaving her SOS on Sally’s underwear, which Wyatt noticed right away. Sally’s plan quickly blew up in her face as Wyatt rushed to rescue Flo. He was left confused as Flo explained that Sally had never been sick. Steffy’s me time went horribly wrong as she was struck by a car while riding her motorcycle. It was revealed that Bill had been the one driving and he was devastated. Brooke and Ridge were in the middle of a discussion about their marriage when they got the call about Steffy and rushed to her side.

Days of Our Lives

Ciara’s woke up the morning of her wedding sick to her stomach and passed out. When it was discovered that it couldn’t have been food poisoning or a hangover she began to believe that she must’ve been drugged…by Claire. She laid into Claire about how she had been a fool to believe that she had changed and dismissed her as her maid of honor. Ben’s day didn’t start off that great either as he had a nightmare where Jordan berated him about how he would end up hurting Ciara one day and that he would always be a killer. He reached out to Marlena for comfort as he wondered if he really could snap again. Gabi told Jake about Vivian’s death and convinced him to go to the memorial service. Which was just Ivan and a celebratory Kate, who took the opportunity to share some of the horrible things Vivian had done over the years. Unfortunately for Kate, Vivian isn’t really dead…just faking.

Belle and Shawn’s homecoming was marred with drama as they learned of Ciara and Claire’s latest battle. Claire was devastated to overhear her parents questioning her sanity and whether or not she should still be in Bayview. Sarah was relieved to find out that the woman in Xander’s room was a masseuse and not a prostitute. She then agreed to attend the wedding with him. Ben got a call from his father who congratulated him on his upcoming nuptials and told him that he would be sending him a wedding gift. Family and friends gathered for Ben and Ciara’s wedding where the I dos went off without a hitch…though that wasn’t the end of things. A bomb went off at the front of the church separating Ben from everyone else. It was mass chaos as everyone was disoriented from the explosion. Lani and Allie were rushed to the hospital to check on their babies – thankfully everything was fine. Jake stayed by Gabi’s side after her leg had been hurt during the blast. She even offered to explain the DiMera family history to him. Jake wondered if the bomb was meant for him thanks to his issues with the mob.

Ciara, Hope, Rafe, and Shawn searched for Ben in the rubble and were worried when he was nowhere to be found. A mysterious someone had stuck him in the trunk of their car. A distraught Ciara instantly thought of Claire when she learned that the explosion was not an accident. Claire was obviously upset when her former BFF blamed her for such a horrible event and pleaded her innocence. Lucas and Sami rushed to Allie’s side, which she wasn’t too happy about. She revealed that she had made her decision and wanted Rafe to raise her baby despite her parent’s disapproval. But after Sami had another talk with Rafe, he told Allie that he was honored she thought of him but he wasn’t ready to raise her child.

Our Performer of the Week is Days of Our Lives’ Victoria Konefal!

This week belonged to Victoria Konefal! While Ben’s vows were absolutely beautiful, it was Victoria’s incredible performance as she confronted Claire about planting the bomb that took the number one spot! Ciara’s fear, anger, and desperation all shined through during the face-off. And dare we say that this was the best that she has ever been?!

Our Honorable Mention goes to The Bold and the Beautiful’s Heather Tom!

How good is it to have the phenomenal Heather Tom back on our screens! We could just jump for joy as she delivered one of her wonderful emotional performances that earn Emmys! As Bill explained that his kiss with Brooke meant nothing to him, Katie sat back and thought about what this betrayal meant to her. It didn’t mean nothing…a meaningless moment for him ruined everything for her. Her family, her trust in him and her sister…her confidence. Heather Tom made us feel exactly what Katie was feeling in just a few moments.
