Performer of the Week: The Young and the Restless’ Melissa Ordway!

The nightmare is finally over for Abby, Mariah, and the rest of their loved ones! The clock was running out this week as Abby realized that Ben, a man that she once loved, could have been the one to kidnap Mariah. Instead of freaking out – like she often does – Abby took matters into her own hands. Pushing her fears aside, she confronted Ben with a heartfelt, gentle approach as she worked to get Mariah and her unborn child’s whereabouts out of him. Melissa’s emotionally driven performance was a standout this week! 

General Hospital

Cyrus put a hit out on Laura and Martin, which led them to go to a safe house. Willow decided to tell Chase the truth, asking him for an annulment. Chase found proof for Austin and while Brook Lynn tried to keep it from going further, Michael decided to stop the cycle of ELQ drama and let Austin have the evidence. Nina convinced Maxie to go back to Port Charles when she asked to stay in Nixon Falls. Though, neither one of them was aware that Peter had followed her. Peter then ran into Sonny and Nina. Peter decided to use Nina to get info out of Maxie and Valentin about where Louise is or he will spill her secrets and go after James. Esme wants to keep her eye on Trina and plans to start classes at PCU. Sam and Dante went to Anna for help with the Drew investigation. Drew met Chloe, a nurse who was forced as a hostage. Britt and Terry made progress in their roles as co-Chief of Staff. Maxie was excited when she was tasked with planning Jason and Carly’s wedding. Nina called Liesl for help getting rid of Peter. “Mike” became suspicious of Peter. Esme had a strange fascination with Ryan and his Locked-In Syndrome, which made Harmony inform Alexis. Maxie tells Jax to move on from Nina. Ava revealed to Nik that she plans to leave Port Charles for a time.

Eric revealed to Quinn that he has erectile dysfunction. She vowed to stay by his side no matter what. Brooke and Ridge were not too happy about the couple’s reunion. In the hopes of getting Sheila out of his life, Jack agreed to help her see Finn and Hayes while Steffy was away on a business trip. However, Steffy’s trip was cut short when she couldn’t leave her family behind. She was shocked when she came home to find Sheila holding her child. She kicked Sheila and Jack out of the house, setting her anger towards Finn.

Nikki attempted to talk Victor out of his investigation into Ashland, knowing that it would upset Victoria to question her judgment. At the same time, Billy started his own deep dive into Ashland. Ashland surprised Victoria with plans to create a second building to match Newman Tower, called Locke Tower. After overhearing Victoria’s plans for her wedding dress, Sally set out to score the designing gig. Traci revealed that she is writing a fictional account of Dina’s early days in Paris. Nate offered an overworked Elena as his replacement as Ask MD Now. Victor found out that Ashland had a suspicious relationship with an older woman, which led to the creation of his empire. Jack helped Phyllis, who was still having a hard time being away from Summer. Gloria’s ideas for JCV impressed Lauren. Ben provided Rey with a “lead” about who could have taken Mariah. However, the information made Devon and others suspicious. They finally pieced together that he was Mariah’s kidnapper. Abby and Devon found Mariah, who was in labor. With the help of Nate over video chat, they were able to deliver baby Bowie safely.

EJ offered to serve as Xander’s attorney and get him his job at Basic Black back in exchange for him returning the money Sami gave him. Paulina and Julie made peace. Paulina and Abe also decided to try their relationship again. Tripp told Allie that he loved her but she wasn’t ready to say it back. Both of them sought out advice on their relationship from Kayla. Ben and Ciara started planning for the future. Olivia finally got to meet Eli and the twins. Gwen thanked Xander for protecting her and they hooked up. Ava and Rafe fought over his feelings for Nicole. Gabi then happily pushed Nicole towards Rafe. Kate warned Philip about working with Gabi, but he hired Jake anyway. Brady planned a business trip for him and Chloe, which upset Philip. Victor didn’t take the news of Bonnie and Justin’s impending wedding well. Steve decided to keep an open mind when it comes to Ava after seeing she had changed. Justin asked Steve to be his best man when Sonny couldn’t make it to the wedding. Johnny asked Anna and Tony to fund his movie career but EJ shut it down. Bonnie’s former sister-in-law Calista showed up, accusing her of murder and wanting money. Allie and Tripp got a shock when Chanel showed up with Johnny as her date.
