Victor took pity on his nephew after he moved out and told Sarah just how much she has changed Xander for the better. But things go downhill when Sarah sees a mysterious woman go to Xander’s room at the inn. The key ceremony went off without a hitch and seems to be successful. John and Marlena were surprised to hear about Allie’s pregnancy and plans to keep it hidden from Sami. Lucas was upset after Rafe told him about Allie’s wish for him to adopt her child and thought about calling Sami. Just as Will and Sonny are getting excited about the possibility of raising Allie’s baby, she expressed how weird that would be for her.
Justin and Kayla’s wedding day began with hesitation on everyone’s part. Justin overheard Hope and Jennifer talking about how Steve is still in love with Kayla and had to decide whether or not he should tell Kayla. And Kayla was dealing with crisis after crisis as it seemed like her wedding was doomed. While at the same time Steve said his goodbyes as he prepared to leave town after giving Justin his blessing. Justin’s conscience got the better of him and he stopped the wedding to tell Kayla the truth about Steve’s feelings. When he gave her the opportunity to choose he realized that she had already made her choice…and it wasn’t him.
Kayla took off to find Steve at the airport and thought she had missed him when he made the decision to get off of the plane. Kayla laid into him about his stubbornness and trying to play God when it came to her once again. Steve told her that he just couldn’t walk away and she couldn’t either because they still love each other. They then decide to leave town together – knowing that they still have some issues to work out. Justin got another shock when he discovered Bonnie at Adrienne’s gravesite – looking a lot like Adrienne thanks to her new image for her book campaign.
Lani and Eli enjoyed the last few moments of their honeymoon before heading back to the real world. Gabi gloated to Chad about the DNA test results and then asked for his help bringing Stefan’s memories back…which he, of course, said no to. Jack suggested to Chad that he stay in Salem to deal with Gabi and Jake as he and Jennifer went to Florida to be with Abby. Ben and Ciara seemed to believe that things with Claire were going great after she helped Ben pick out Ciara’s new engagement ring…that was until the ring went missing. Kate and Vivian made a pact to never tell that they both tried to kill the other one but Vivian’s side of the deal came with a stipulation – Kate has to get hold of Rolf’s serum for Stefan. Gwen was upset when Jake revealed that he had just used her for comfort when he was upset and didn’t want to get back together. And him kicking her out when Gabi showed up didn’t help things either. Her anger though might just be helpful to Chad when he introduces himself to her at the bar.

The vets showed us all how it’s done this week! From the emotions of Justin’s broken heart as he realized that Kayla was still in love with Steve to Steve and Kayla’s incredible reunion! These phenomenal actors showed out.
Wally’s performance tugged at our heartstrings as he stopped the wedding and walked away from Kayla. And the magical connection between Stephen and Mary Beth made us cheer as Steve and Kayla reunited FINALLY! We couldn’t have asked for more from this trio.
