The actor expressed his satisfaction with his portrayal of Alex in the soap opera. He mentioned that Peacock has been very supportive, and he is grateful for the solid ratings and numbers. He finds playing Alex very exciting and enjoys working with great people as part of the main Kiriakis family. He shared his enthusiasm for the Greece storyline on the show, which he found really great and enjoyable.

Wilson also talked about his latest scenes with Wally Kurth, who played his on-screen father and finding out that Justin is not his biological father but Victor is. Wilson praised Kurth’s work and enjoys that they get to collaborate onscreen as father and son. On finding out he was Victor’s son, he noted, “It was a shocker to me, but it also felt great. We know this is Salem… and that things can change and other things can happen next. I was just honored to get the news first, and for that to be one of the main storylines. I always trust Ron Carlivati’s writing process. John [Aniston] is one of the most legendary guys I’ve ever met in my life, and his character is so iconic. Just to be in the same paragraph as Victor Kiriakis is really humbling. I am very grateful.”

Wilson shared his experience of working with Emily O’Brien, who portrays Theresa O’Donovan. He said Emily is a sweetheart and an absolute rockstar who took this role in stride. He also praised her for her great acting skills and how she transformed herself while wearing a wig for the role.

As for what the future holds: “I would like to be on ‘Days of Our Lives’ for as long as I possibly can. We got our two-year renewal so I am focused on that. Hopefully, we will carry it on past 60 years. I hope we get more good news in the future and that we keep going with that show.”
