After Ashland Locke’s run on The Young and the Restless, another bad boy and villain was definitely needed. Jeremy Stark has been quite the hot topic for weeks on the CBS daytime drama before officially making his Genoa City debut at the end of last week. James Hyde, who plays the role, appeared in over 250 episodes of soap operas with the combination of his role as Sam Bennett on Passions, Neil Johanssen on Another World and Liam on As the World Turns so we had no doubt that the actor would be a great addition to Y&R. Appearing in approximately ten episodes inclusive of flashback scenes thus far, we are intrigued to see what this villainous type character brings to the canvas. We absolutely enjoyed the scenes he’s shared with Suan Walters’ Diane Jenkins thus far. We could see him going up against Jack (Peter Bergman) and maybe even Victor (Eric Braeden). We thought Hyde had been outstanding so far and graded his debut an A+. Do you agree? Do you want to see his character become a permanent addition to the show?
