“So, there’s a guy on the show right now who’s come on the show, and you guys will see him. He may have aired. I’m not sure, but I had some scenes with him, and I can’t say what it is yet. But I said, ‘Do you know exactly what’s happening?’ Because there was, you know, his decision-making in the scene had to do with events that have happened in history with some characters. And he’s like, ‘I don’t really know what’s really happened, but I do make, you know, I create the backstory myself.’”
Burton added:
“He’s been an actor for a long, long time. He’s been on some prime time shows. He’s done this a long time. So I said, ‘Do you mind if I just tell you kind of, you know, what this is, who this is, why they’re doing it, and what the involvement for me is?’ And he goes, ‘No, I would love to.’ And if you can just give someone just a few things where they go, ‘Oh, that’s why I’m saying this, and now it has to be the interpretation needs to be this, or my intention needs to be this in the scene.’ So, um, once he airs, we can talk about that more if we remember. But, it’s important. Knowing the history is important.”
