The Bold and the Beautiful is leaving Television City studios for a new home, according to a report from Deadline.

The 38-year-old soap opera, which premiered on CBS in 1987, will remain in Los Angeles but is moving to Sunset Las Palmas Studios. Production at the new facility is set to begin on August 19.

Since 1987, the show has called Television City home, filming over 9,600 episodes on the iconic lot. However, the historic mid-city studio complex is now undergoing a multi-year, billion-dollar renovation and expansion, prompting the move.

In a statement published on Deadline, executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell said: “It’s been an extraordinary 38 years at Television City, where we have produced over 9,600 episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful. As we look ahead, we’re excited to begin this next chapter at Sunset Las Palmas Studios — continuing our production in the heart of Hollywood and the great state of California.”

Fans can breathe easy—CBS renewed The Bold and the Beautiful earlier this year for three more seasons. This secures its place on air through the 2027–28 season.

Since its premiere in 1987, the show has focused on high-stakes drama, fashion shows, love triangles, and so much more. With the Forrester, Spencer, and Logan families leading the pack. B&B airs weekdays on CBS. (Photo: CBS)
