It’s been almost 10 years since John Driscoll has done an acting gig. He last appeared on The Young and the Restless in the role of Chance Chancellor in 2011 after joining the cast in 2009. Gracefully, he’s returning to the genre, this time lending his talents to hit soapy podcast series called Forever And a Day in two weeks.

Forever and a Day (abbreviated as FaaD) is an American audio drama/podcast soap opera. Created by Casey Hutchison (who ran Daytime Indulgence), the serial debuted on August 3, 2020, on the JLJ Media Network, and is syndicated via a wide variety of American podcasting services and applications, including iTunes, Google Podcasts, and Spotify. The series features a number of popular faces from the American daytime television community including five-time Daytime Emmy Award nominee, Beth Ehlers.

The series, written by Hutchison and Candice Mack, focuses on dramatic events in the lives of three families living in the fictional Augustus, Illinois: the wealthy and political ambitious Harpers, the equally political ambitious Bennetts, and the tabloid-journalist Marshalls.

The show is audio-only, using a narrator to recap and contextualize the show’s events.
Driscoll is also known for playing Coop Bradshaw on Guiding Light.
