After 24 years of outstanding performances back to back, could The Young and the Restless’ Sharon Case (Sharon) finally be in for another win at this year’s upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards to be held in April? In an interesting article by Gold Derby, they outline that though she has received nominations in the other categories, this will be her first in the lead category if she makes it through when the list of nominees are announced on March 21, 2018.
Case’s last nomination, however, was way back in 2004 and her last win was back in 1999 could she make it in the list of nominees after 14 years? Gold Derby predictions put the actress in a good place to earn a nomination with 19 out of 24 predicting her to make the list for Best Actress. However, only 3 of them predicts a win for her as the majority are predicting that Maura West will once again walk away with the award. So, could Sharon Case surprise all and win?
