It’s going to be a party on The Young and the Restless! Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor (Eric Braeden), the ultimate power couple, are celebrating 40 years since they first tied the knot. The show is going all out for this milestone with a huge bash, as revealed by TV Guide Magazine.
Josh Griffith, the show’s executive producer and head writer told the publication, “I thought this anniversary was the perfect opportunity to celebrate Victor and Nikki’s icon status as a couple. It also provided us with the chance to give the couple some nice romantic moments after dealing with Jordan’s reign of terror.”
Griffith hinted that the shindig won’t be a walk in the park. He teases that Jordan won’t be able to resist causing chaos for the Newmans. This will then push the Newmans and the Abbotts to team up but will be it go smoothly?

Both Victor and Nikki have hit it off with other people, but there’s just something special about this pair. The love story of Victor Newman and Nikki Reed Newman on The Young and the Restless started in quite a fascinating way. Victor, a rich and successful businessman, and Nikki, a young woman working as a stripper at the Bayou, ended up crossing paths.
