Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Luna watches with malicious satisfaction as her plan unfolds.
B&B Recap August 20: Luna Watches Will
The party at Il Giardino is in full swing. Everybody’s dancing and having fun. At the bar, the waiter asks Luna about the drink, an alcoholic drink, after he sees her with it. She says she’s taking care of it as he reminds her not to get it mixed up. As he walks away, she says she knows what she’s doing. Luna flashes back to putting in strong alcohol in Will’s drinks. She looks across at him dancing with Electra and says it’s going to be a special night for her and him.
Li Reaches Out to Sheila
Li is on the phone with Sheila, wondering where Luna would go. Sheila flashes back to bringing pizza for Luna and telling her about running into Will and how he got a promotion, and they planned to throw a party at the restaurant.
Li wonders if Luna is with Sheila. Sheila says no, but maybe she went for a walk, and they shouldn’t worry. She begs Li not to get so worked up. She thinks Luna will be back soon. Li says she’d better be, because if anyone recognizes her, she’s going back to prison. Sheila lets her know that she has to go and to call her if she hears anything. As she is heading out, Deacon comes in and wonders what’s wrong.
Li returns to the location, frantic as ever, wondering if Luna is back. She notices that she’s not there and wonders where the hell she went.
Lainey Has Nice Words for Will
Electra says she needs a break. As she walks out, Lainey comes and tells Will how fun this party is. Lainey tells him how lucky Electra is to have a guy like him and kisses him on the cheek. He goes over to the bar, smiles at Luna, and tells her that he’s going to need another vodka soda.
Deacon Gives a Massage
At the apartment, Deacon gives Sheila a massage. He notices that she’s a little tense, and she agrees. Sheila mentions that she has been thinking about Luna a lot. Deacon can understand. After all, look what Luna did. Sheila goes on to note that Luna could’ve been different if she had the help and the time. She says she wishes she could’ve been the person that Luna really needed.
Deacon really understands that Sheila truly cared for Luna. Sheila goes on to mention that he has such a big heart, and she was just hoping that his feelings toward Luna would have softened a bit. He says he could never, especially not after what she did, poisoning two innocent men. He points out that while his feelings about Luna may never change, he can still be a good husband and a good listener. He hates to see his wife in pain, but he is committed to helping her get through this.
Sheila says she’s going to go downstairs and just make sure everything is going okay. He offers to go, but she says she wants to go herself. She wants to see that everything is fine with her own eyes.
Snap Snap at the Party
Everyone at the party is snapping selfies while Electra interacts with Zende, talking about wearing the mask. Will goes on to say how Electra’s mask is unique, even though he could spot her from a mile away because of her beauty.
He takes orders for drinks. While they’re diving into snacks and whatever else, Luna listens in as they begin to talk about Luna’s crazy behavior. They mention that they don’t think anyone is sorry that Luna ended up getting herself killed. But Luna stands by with a smirk on her face, noting that they all think she’s dead. However, that’s not the case.
B&B Recap August 20: Electra Leaves
Will and Electra are wrapped up in each other’s arms, getting cozy. Luna looks on, a bit serious. The waiter approaches and thanks Luna for the help.
Sheila enters, Luna spots her, and says she’s going to run off and check something. Sheila looks around, and Will approaches her to thank her for throwing such a good party. Sheila is just glad he’s having a good time.
Will and Electra leave the party. She wonders where he’s taking her, and he stops there and tells her he took her out for a kiss. He suggests that she go home with him. She wonders what about his mom. He promises she has nothing to worry about and that he will sneak her in.
Electra suggests they can wait because she wants it to be special. She wants him as much as he wants her, but just not tonight. Luna peeks at them from a distance. Electra says it’s time for her to go. Will doesn’t want her to leave, but she insists she has to. She leaves, and Will looks obviously disappointed. But Luna looks completely satisfied.
Sheila Updates Li
Sheila returns to the room upstairs looking for Deacon, but he’s not there. She calls Li to inform her that she hasn’t found Luna. Sheila says she went down to the restaurant to check, but Luna is not there. She has no idea where she is, but she figures Luna probably just went out for a walk since she hasn’t had fresh air in a long time. She suggests they not worry. She says their granddaughter is smart, and Luna will not do anything foolish. Meanwhile, Li looks very worried.
Luna Gets Will Alone
Will comes back and tells everybody that Electra left and wonders if he should follow her. Zende advises him to get some sleep because he looks a little bit out of it. Will goes over to the bar and orders another vodka soda.
Deacon comes in and asks how everybody’s doing, and the FC employees tell him they’re good. Toni points at Will and tells Deacon it looks like somebody is going to have a headache tomorrow.
Deacon realizes what’s up and checks on Will, who informs him that Electra left, and the night is still young. Deacon says Will should follow him upstairs and get a nice room to crash in. Will doesn’t want to hear it, but Deacon suggests all he needs right now is a bottle of water and some rest. And he’s got both for him.
Luna takes Electra’s mask in her hand and smirks as she walks away.
Deacon walks Will to a room and tells him he needs to get some sleep. “Sweet dreams, princess,” he tells him as he throws him into bed and pulls the cover over him. Deacon leaves.
And Luna enters, wearing Electra’s mask. In her mind, she says, “Finally, Will. Finally.” As she smiles away.
