Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Will struggles with guilt over a drunken night that he can’t remember. Liam makes a heartfelt plea to Hope, and Ridge and Carter make a pact.

B&B Recap August 26: Hope Turns Liam Down

Liam says he has a new perspective on how short life really is. He knows what he wants, and honestly, it’s what he’s always wanted. Hope. Their family. It would mean everything to him if she felt the same way.

Liam reflects on everything that’s happened this past month. The close call, the second chance. It changed everything. He says there’s no one he loves more than Hope.

Hope tells Liam that she loves him and their family. She notes that all those days, those weeks, thinking that it might be their last made her really think about them and the misunderstandings and everything they’ve been through. All the time they wasted. The fact that a bullet didn’t take him from them, and there is no cancer, she’s grateful. She’s happy he is in her life, and he will always be, but it doesn’t change the fact that she’s engaged to Carter.

Hope opens up to Liam. She tells him her feelings for him are real. They always have been. But Carter asked her to marry him, and she takes that seriously. He wants a life with her. Then Liam looks at her and asks, “What about you. What do you want?

Liam reminds Hope of their many years together before planting a kiss on her.

Carter Asks a Big Favor of Ridge

Carter tells Ridge that everything’s been on pause because of what happened with Liam. But he’s ready now. He wants to make Hope his wife and start their future together.

Ridge asks Carter if Hope’s having second thoughts about the wedding. Carter says no. He doesn’t resent the time Hope spent with Liam. But it’s time Liam moves on. Ridge wonders if maybe Carter’s just in a rush because he wants to move on, too. Carter admits that might sound selfish, but he wishes Liam well. Still, he wants Hope, and it’s their time now.

Carter notes her he’s not trying to pressure her. He knows she’s been through a lot. But the second she gives him the green light, he’s all in. He wants to build a life with her. He smiles and says there’s something else he wants to talk to Ridge about. Then he turns to Ridge and asks if he’d be his best man.

Carter knows there’s history between them, but he still sees Ridge as a close friend. Ridge agrees. He says he had doubts about Carter’s relationship with Hope in the beginning, but now he’s willing to step in for his friend. Carter officially has himself a best man. Carter couldn’t be happier.

Electra Visits Il Giardino

At Il Giardino, she shows Deacon and Erin the setup and thanks him for letting real hosts throw a party there. She says it’s going to be a night he won’t forget.

Electra tells Deacon the party was amazing. Everyone felt it. She thanks him for helping with Bill while she was gone. Deacon says he wasn’t going to let anything happen to the guy.

Deacon notes that Will’s got it bad for Electra. He could tell because Will couldn’t stop talking about her all night. Electra says she feels a little crazy about where it’s all headed. Deacon says he picked up on that, too. It’s obvious they care about each other. Electra admits she’s had boyfriends before, but none like Will. He’s got such a big heart. She really believes he’d never do anything to hurt her.

Deacon claims he’s a big fan of Will and Elctra and would hate to see anyone try to mess with that. Electra claims the only person who died was Luna. Decon notes that since Luna is gone, she never has to worry about it again. In comes Sheila, who talks about the party and it being a night Will’s never going to forget.

Will Confesses to Katie

Will’s at the office, deep in thought. He keeps flashing back to the night of his party, especially the after-party. Katie walks in and hangs up a dress. She’s happy to see her son—but she can tell something’s off. She asks what’s wrong. Will says nothing, but Katie knows that look. She asks what really happened.

Katie says she knows Will had a little too much to drink and ended up crashing at Il Giardino. She wonders if that’s what’s been on his mind. She’s confused. Will says something did happen—but it’s not about getting drunk.

Will opens up to his mom and tells her the whole story. He says this mystery girl showed up at the party wearing Electra’s mask and ended up in his bed. Will never once thought it wasn’t Electra. He begs his mom not to freak out and make things worse. He’s already having a hard enough time with it. He’s certain it was Electra. But when Electra told him she never came back that night, it left one big question—if it wasn’t her, then who was it?

Will says he would never hurt Electra on purpose. He knows how much she’s looking forward to tonight—their night—but he’s carrying a heavy guilt he can’t shake.

As Katie leaves, Will gets a text from an unknown sender, telling him that last night was amazing. He texts back asking who it is. And the person says it’s his secret admirer. Unbeknownst to him, it’s Luna.

B&B Recap August 26: Luna Is Happy with the Outcome

Luna tells Sheila that she and Will were together last night. She’s had feelings for him for a long time, and she’s glad they finally got to share that moment. Sheila knows Will thinks that he was with Electra the whole time.

Luna smiles as she thinks about the night. It meant everything to her. She tells Sheila it was amazing, something she’ll never forget. Sheila reminds her how much she loves her and that she just wants her to be happy. But Luna already knows where this is going. She says Sheila thinks she’s setting herself up to get hurt. Luna doesn’t see it that way. She says last night could change everything.

Luna and Sheila are talking. Luna admits she spiked Will’s drinks, put on Electra’s mask, and went up to his room. She says he was out of it, but not completely.

Sheila knows Luna’s crazy about Will. But she’s worried. She points out that Will only slept with her because he thought she was Electra. Luna pushes back. She says she gave Will exactly what Electra would have given him—and maybe more. And maybe Electra never will, especially once she finds out what happened.

Luna reminds Sheila that she made her own choices. She wasn’t forced into anything. She knows she took a big risk, but still believes it was worth it. Last night could change everything for her and Will.
