Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Taylor begins to question Ridge’s emotional moment with Brooke in Italy. Electra tells Will she’s ready to take the next step in their relationship.
B&B Recap August 14: Taylor Refuses to Take Off Her Ring
At the Forrester mansion, Taylor walks in and finds Ridge. She asks if he’s okay. He says he is, and they talk about Kelly, how much they love her, and, of course, how much they still love each other.
Taylor brings up Brooke’s accident. She says she understands how traumatic it must have been, but it doesn’t change anything between them. She calls what Ridge did heroic. Ridge tries to brush it off, but Taylor insists she’s proud of him. It was a huge moment for him and Brooke, sure, but she’s not taking off her engagement ring, no matter what Eric or Brooke thinks.
Then she wonders if they should even be living there. They kiss. Ridge says he has to head to the office.
Katie and Brooke at the Office
At the office, Brooke tells Katie that Nick had shown her a ring—the one he was planning to give her the day of the accident. Katie asks how that makes her feel. Brooke admits that part of her still loves Nick, which leads Katie to ask the big question: Is Ridge still the man Brooke really wants?
Brooke flashes back to what happened in Italy, how Ridge saved her and made that promise. Just then, Ridge enters the office and closes the door behind him. He notices she seems a million miles away. She says she was thinking about Italy, but she’s here now. Then she asks if he’s talked to Taylor about what happened in Naples.
Ridge admits he didn’t get the chance to talk to Taylor about what happened because Kelly was there. That’s when Brooke drops something big. Nick had shown up, and he had a ring. He was planning to propose to her in Naples, right before everything went sideways. Ridge is caught off guard and doesn’t understand why she’s bringing this up now. Brooke tells him it’s because he promised he was going to make things right, and she wants to know when that’s actually going to happen.
Brooke notes that if he cannot come back to her, if he cannot take that ring off Taylor’s finger… before she can finish her sentence, Ridge pulls her into a hug.
Luna Wants One Thing
Elsewhere, Sheila and Li are helping Luna take a few steps. Luna’s grateful for their help. She promises to make the most of this second chance, as there’s so much she wants to do. Thanks to Li, she gets that chance.
Luna puts on some lipstick and asks if she looks more like herself. Sheila can hardly believe it. Luna is coming back to life right before their eyes.
Luna says she’s tired of all the anger and resentment. She just wants one thing. Li asks what that is. Then Luna says that what she wants more than anything is to be a Finnegan. She wants to see her dad.
But Li quickly says that can’t happen. Not right now. Sheila chimes in with a knowing look. She says there’s someone else Luna wants to see.
Sheila casually mentions that the guy Luna wants to see is Will Spencer—but apparently, Li has no idea what she’s talking about. She quickly shifts the focus and reminds Luna that she’s still healing. The last thing she needs right now, Li says, is to be worrying about boys, especially Will Spencer.
B&B Recap August 14: Will and Electra Talk Taking the Next Step
Across the hall, Electra thanks Will for being so understanding. She calls him amazing, saying plenty of girls would be lucky to have him. Will gently tells her not to worry about other girls. He knows the deepfakes have shaken her up, but she’s safe with him. He tells her he loves her. Electra promises that one day, she’ll be ready to take that next step with him.
Electra steps in and gently explains that waiting wasn’t about not wanting Will. It was never that simple. Will reassures her that he understands and respects her pace.
Electra opens up a bit more, admitting that what happened with Remy wasn’t the only thing holding her back. When she was a kid, her parents’ marriage fell apart after her dad cheated on her mom. That kind of betrayal stuck with her, made her extra cautious, maybe even overly guarded. Will listens without judgment and tells her she has nothing to worry about. For him, no one else exists. She’s the only one.
Later, Electra and Will start making in the office.
Katie Visits Taylor
Katie drops by. Taylor asks how Brooke’s doing. Katie says her sister wouldn’t still be alive if it weren’t for Ridge. She promises Ridge means a lot to her. Taylor firmly tells Katie that Ridge is her man now, and she needs to respect that. She says Ridge can always count on her because she has his back.
Taylor insists that Ridge has to break this cycle. He accepted her proposal because he wants a relationship based on a solid foundation, and that will not happen with Brooke; going back to Brooke will only lead to more heartache for Ridge.
