B&B Recap August 11: Sheila Finds Luna
Sheila is absolutely stunned when she finds out Luna is still alive. She can’t believe it. She points out that Li saved Luna, just like she once saved Finn.
Li says she didn’t save Luna because she deserved another shot at life. But she’s quick to add that nothing is guaranteed.
Sheila, clearly struggling to make sense of it, wonders why Li would help Luna after everything Luna did to Steffy and Finn.
Sheila demands to know the full story. She’s not letting this go.
Li takes a deep breath and begins to explain. She says Dr. Buckingham had been working on both Sheila and Liam for a while. And when she realized that Luna’s life was literally in her hands, something inside her shifted.
Looking down at her poor niece—her granddaughter—Li couldn’t help herself.
At first, she thought about everything Luna had done. All the pain she’d caused. But then something changed. She started to feel for her. Maybe, just maybe, Luna could be forgiven.
Li says every child is born innocent. But Luna’s mother—Li’s drug-addicted sister—never gave her the care or the life she deserved.
So Li made a choice. She was going to do everything in her power to save Luna. And when the moment came, she took that chance. She brought Luna here to give her a chance, but the longer she stays unconscious, she is worried it may be too late.
Li begs Sheila to keep her secret. Sheila notes she understands and asks for a moment with her granddaughter alone. Sheila begs Luna to wake up, and so she does. Luna grabs Sheila’s hand. Sheila calls for Li’s help. Luna’s eyes start to flicker as they smile and are overjoyed that she’s back.
Will and Electra Are in Love
Meanwhile, over at Forrester Creations, things are heating up. Will and Electra share a kiss, and he can’t stop gushing about how sexy and cute his girlfriend is. Electra is clearly flattered, especially with so many gorgeous models around. But Will’s not interested in anyone else. It’s all her, all the time.
Their sweet moment takes a serious turn as they talk about Luna. She’s gone now, thanks to Liam. Will admits he would’ve felt guilty if Liam had died, especially since he feels like he should’ve done more to protect everyone from Luna.
But Electra isn’t feeling sorry for anyone. She thinks Luna got exactly what she deserved. Will is still trying to wrap his head around the idea that Luna is dead. It’s a lot to process.
Just then, Ivy walks in and asks if it’s true—Liam’s really going to survive? Will confirms that it is.
Later, Ivy and Electra are alone. Ivy sings the praises of Liam and how much he’s always been a fighter. Electra notes she is happy Luna is out of their lives forever.
Bill And Katie Catch Up
In the design office, Bill has a quiet moment with Katie. He tells her he’ll always feel indebted to Grace. After all, she did save Liam—even if it cost him a million dollars. That’s not pocket change, even for Bill Spencer.
B&B Recap August 11: Bill Learns the Truth
Over at the Spencer Estate, Liam and Hope are still reeling from the truth. Grace didn’t save Liam. She scammed Bill out of a million bucks. The whole brain tumor thing? Completely fake.
Hope can hardly believe it. She’s starting to understand how Grace and Reese ever ended up married. That kind of scheming runs deep. Still, she points out that even if Grace was being threatened, there had to be other ways out. Ones that didn’t involve conning a grieving father.
Just then, Liam’s phone buzzes. It’s a text from Finn. Grace just turned herself in. She’s at the station now.
Hope says what Grace did is absolutely unforgivable. Still, the most important thing is that Liam’s okay. A huge weight has been lifted now that they know he’s going to be fine.
Liam nods but says there’s someone he needs to call.
Hope warns him that once Bill finds out the truth, he’s going to want to kill Grace. No doubt about it.
Liam picks up the phone and calls his dad. Bill answers, saying he’s at Forrester right now, telling Katie the good news about Liam. That he’s alive. That he’s going to be okay.
Liam tells him they need to talk. It’s important—and definitely not a conversation for the phone.
As Liam hangs up, he and Hope both know what’s coming. Bill is going to go nuclear when he hears what really happened.
Bill arrives, and his son tells him there is something important he must hear. Liam goes on to explain that everything they thought wasn’t true. Bill thought Liam meant the surgery didn’t work. He is flabbergasted when they reveal that Grace scammed them and there was no brain tumor. Bill is furious, to say he least. “That bi*tch is going to pay. She’s going to pay dearly. Grace Buckingham is going to wish she never met me,” he says.
