Today on The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke, Ridge, and Eric are welcomed home from Naples. Ridge is emotionally conflicted between Taylor and Brooke.
B&B Recap August 13: Back from Naples
At the office, Katie and Donna warmly welcome Ridge, Eric, and Brooke back. They’re relieved to see Brooke safe and doing well. Eric brings up that he heard about what happened with Liam. Everyone agrees that Bill probably won’t show any mercy to Dr. Buckingham, but despite everything, there’s still a lot to be thankful for. Liam is going to be okay, and that alone brings some peace.
As they talk, Ridge checks his phone, trying to be subtle. Brooke notices and wonders if he’s heading out. Ridge admits there’s somewhere he needs to be, and Brooke, picking up on the hint, suggests it might be someone he needs to see instead.
Ridge is gone. Donna checks in with Brooke, asking if there’s anything they can get her. Brooke says she’s fine, just a little jetlagged, and thinks it will pass.
Katie notices that Brooke seems upset and reminds her that they just want to help. Brooke admits it’s hard knowing Ridge is with Taylor. Eric adds that Ridge probably feels like he owes something to Taylor, Steffy, and Thomas—like he’s been ignoring them and is trying to make up for it.
Brooke agrees, saying Ridge feels a strong obligation to his family, but something happened in Italy that changed things. She and Ridge shared a magical moment together in Naples, and it’s been hard to forget.
Katie gets down to work while Eric quietly pulls Brooke aside. He tells her that he still believes Ridge belongs with her—he just might need a little more time to figure things out. Donna reassures her sister that everything is going to work out. Brooke offers a soft smile, holding onto that hope. Soon after, Donna and Eric head out, leaving the sisters alone.
Kelly Has Ideas
Over at the Forrester mansion, Taylor is doing Kelly’s hair, and the little girl is bubbling with excitement about her grandma’s upcoming wedding to Ridge.
She can’t wait to see the wedding dress.
When Ridge arrives, he notices a sketch Kelly made of the dress. He jokes that Forrester Creations might have just found its newest designer. Kelly asks about his trip, and Ridge says it was beautiful—almost as beautiful as his two favorite girls. He hugs Taylor and Kelly, clearly happy to be home. Kelly then insists he should take Taylor to that same beautiful place for their honeymoon, her eyes lighting up at the thought.
Taylor is still with Kelly, who’s buzzing with wedding excitement. Taylor says she absolutely loves Kelly’s idea for the wedding, but she was actually thinking about something a little different—maybe going back to St. Thomas. She starts telling Kelly a story about a time they went there, painting a picture of ocean breezes and beautiful memories. Kelly listens closely, and after hearing the story, she agrees that St. Thomas sounds like a much better idea. Inspired, Kelly suddenly says she has an idea and rushes off, promising to be back soon.
Taylor stays behind, thoughtful. She brings up the recent boat accident, her tone shifting. She says thank God Brooke is alive, and that Ridge was the one who saved her life. There’s a weight in her words, one that lingers even after Kelly runs off.
Ridge seems surprised, but Taylor tells him there’s no need to be. She acknowledges that he must be struggling with what happened with Brooke. He admits he thought she was going to die. She understands the profound impact a moment like that can have and begs him not to let Brooke use this to win him back.
The two exchange I Love Yous as Kelly walks in and jokes that she heard that, and says she is so excited about this wedding.
Electra Talks the Deepfakes
Meanwhile, Will and Electra are having a private conversation. Will still can’t believe Brooke went overboard and is clearly shaken by everything that’s happened. Electra, however, has something heavier on her mind.
She admits she hasn’t been able to stop thinking about Remy. Even though Brooke is back and Liam is safe, she doesn’t really want to talk about herself right now. Will gently encourages her to open up, and Electra finally admits she’s still struggling—with Remy, and with the deepfakes. It’s been a lot to carry.
Will tells Electra that no matter what happens, he’ll always be there for her. What Remy did was disgusting, and he makes it clear that he’ll always protect her. His words seem to offer her a little comfort, even if the pain is still fresh.
Electra knows deep down that Will would do anything for her. His love and understanding give her a sense of peace she didn’t realize she needed. She admits that being back on social media hasn’t been easy, but she’s found a way to make it fun again—on her own terms. Everything that happened made her more aware and cautious, but also stronger.
Things shift to talking about taking their relationship slow; he tells her he doesn’t want to put any pressure on her.
B&B Recap August 13: Nick and Brooke
Back at the office, Katie turns to Brooke and says she’s genuinely glad she’s here. The thought of losing her had shaken her more than she let on. Brooke tries to lighten the mood, telling Katie she’s not getting rid of her that easily. They share a heartfelt moment, just as Nick walks in.
Nick says he came by to check on Brooke and to clear a few things up. There’s still a lot to talk about.
Katie quietly slips out to give Nick and Brooke some privacy. As soon as she’s gone, Nick brings up what happened in Naples. The boat accident that occurred on his boat still weighs heavily on him. He tells Brooke how devastating it feels.
Brooke gently reminds him it wasn’t his fault, but Nick can’t help but feel responsible. She thinks he’s being way too hard on himself. Nick nods and says that the only thing that matters now is that she’s okay—and seeing that for himself brings him relief.
Nick says it’s time for him to leave L.A. Brooke tells him he doesn’t have to. He is sorry to hear that Ridge is with Taylor again. He reveals he had something special planned for their boat trip as Brooke asks what it is. Nick pulls out a ring, and Brooke sighs in shock. He tells her he was planning to put this ring on her finger, and things are not over for them because he loves her. Brooke tells him she loves him, too.
