B&B Recap August 6: Ridge Races to Save Brooke
Ridge is racing against time to find Brooke, but things take a terrifying turn when she falls into the water after a boat collision. Ridge dives into the water with a dramatic splash and manages to rescue an unconscious Brooke just in time.
Ridge pulls Brooke from the water and performs CPR, desperately trying to revive her.
Ridge is by Brooke’s side, looking at her unconscious face and whispering that he can’t live without her. As he speaks, Brooke begins to drift into a memory—a beautiful, special moment from their past together. That flash of love and familiarity pulls her back. Suddenly, her eyes flutter open, and Ridge, overwhelmed with relief and emotion, kisses her.
He holds her in his arms and promises to never take her for granted again. He even promises to make this right as Brooke looks at him and smiles.
Donna Updates Katie
Katie is left speechless when she discovers that Nick has a ring and is planning to propose. Donna reveals that Nick snuck into the luncheon and kissed her too. Donna promises she’ll check in with Eric later, but something doesn’t sit right with her. She has a gut feeling that something bad is coming. She doesn’t want Brooke to end up in a vulnerable situation she might regret.
Katie and Donna talk about Nick. They both agree he’s a good guy, sweet even—but he’s not the man Brooke truly wants. They still believe Brooke belongs with Ridge.
Donna and Katie start to worry about Brooke. They haven’t heard from her, and she hasn’t posted anything online either. It’s not like her, and the silence feels off. Both of them hope she’s okay.
Hope and Liam Discuss Grace
Meanwhile, Hope and Liam reflect on everything Grace has done for them. Liam says he’s been racking his brain trying to find a way to repay her, but how do you thank someone who literally saves your life twice? Hope gently reminds him that it’s Grace’s job. She’s a doctor, after all.
Hope mentions that Beth can’t wait to see her father again. She and Liam talk about everything Reese did—how he stole their daughter and turned their lives upside down. The pain is still fresh.
Liam notes how Grace and Reese are complete opposites. He says Reese is a demon while Grace, on the other hand, is an angel.

Elsewhere, Grace drops a bombshell on Finn. She confesses that Reese was drowning in gambling debt, and dangerous people were after her and her daughters. She admits she lied about Liam’s condition to protect them. Finn is completely floored.
Grace goes on to explain that while Liam really did suffer a brain bleed, she saw an opportunity to fake a tumor and took it. Finn demands the full story.
Grace opens up even more. She admits she reviewed Liam’s medical records but didn’t think through the consequences. It was all a rash decision, driven by fear. Reese owed millions, and she had no idea how she was going to come up with the rest of the money. So, in a panic, she created the lie about a fake tumor to protect herself and her daughters.
She explains that the symptoms Liam had—headaches, dizziness, and more—were actually side effects from the prescriptions she gave him. During surgery, she says she was careful and only used light sedation. She looks Finn in the eye and begs him to understand. She’s deeply sorry for what she did.
Finn says she didn’t just con Liam. She also wasted his time looking over scans and on a brain tumor that didn’t exist. Grace even asks him to keep this a secret.
