The Days of Our Lives episode for June 17 featured several happenings: Gabi made Javi an offer, Doug III asked Leo for help, Chad apologized to Cat, and Tate and Holly reflect. But what really stood out was that two young women are in danger—and it’s all because of one man. Plus, that scene between Sophia and Aaron… but hey, let’s not speculate just yet.
What Happened Today on Days of our Lives June 17
So what went down, you ask?
Cat was at home listening to music while dusting. The music was so loud in her ears that she didn’t even hear someone knocking. Lo and behold—it was her brother. Surprise, surprise: Aaron is back in Salem for graduation.
Javi Has A New Job
Elsewhere, Gabi was frustrated about a work issue. Javi came in and she apologized for firing him. She was ready to reinstate him, but he let her know he already has a new gig. He had been accepted as a rookie firefighter/paramedic by the Salem Fire Department.

At The Pub, Doug was working and saw some mail, one of which was addressed to him. Inside were photos of Holly and Ari (Marissa Reyes)—and a message that read, “It’d be a shame if something happened to those pretty faces.” Yikes.
Friends Catching Up
Meanwhile, Ari and Holly were in the town square catching up—unaware that they were talking about the same guy. Ari gushed about someone she met after returning to Salem, while Holly mentioned that there might be someone else in her life besides Tate.
Speaking of Tate, he had to convince Sophia to change her mind after she told him she didn’t feel like going out to the square. When they got there, Sophia and Ari caught up, and so did Tate and Holly. Holly revealed her mom is coming to graduation and that she applied to universities in Europe. Tate mentioned he applied to Salem U.
Sophia and Aaron also had a moment to catch up, and he admitted that there was a time he pictured the two of them together.
Chad and Leo talked at the office before running into Will outside The Pub. Chad later went to see Cat and apologized to her for what happened after they jumped out of a plane together. Cat offered to have Chad over for dinner—nothing with mustard. He agreed.
