Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is officially off the market — again! The Bold and the Beautiful leading lady has said “yes” to Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) proposal (again), and she’s glowing with happiness. But while Hope and Liam are floating on cloud nine, not everyone in L.A. may be popping champagne over the news.
This week, Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) has to wrap his head around the fact that his ex-fiancée is engaged already — sure, he may be happy for them, but another one of Hope’s exes might be stirring things up soon, and it’s a name that’s sure to turn a few heads: Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Matthew Atkinson was recently spotted back on set filming new scenes. The news was revealed by longtime supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk, who was recently promoted to executive producer alongside Bradley Bell. Fans have been buzzing about what Thomas’s return could mean for Hope, especially since their story has been anything but simple.
Will Thomas See Hope This Time on Bold and the Beautiful?
When we last saw Thomas, he wasn’t exactly in the mood for romance. His dad, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), had just called off his engagement to Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and remarried Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), while Thomas’s own engagement to Paris (Diamond White) had just fallen apart. So what does his perfectly timed return mean for Hope?
Let’s not forget — things between Hope and Thomas went south after she turned down his proposal. Since then, she’s been engaged twice: first to Carter, and now to Thomas’s longtime rival, Liam. And the last time Thomas was in town, we barely got a reaction from him about Hope, let alone an interaction. Could this time be any different?
The timing of Thomas’s return is also intriguing. Hope has finally hired a new lead designer for Hope for the Future, a position that once belonged to Thomas himself.
His creative vision helped define the line, so his reappearance could bring both professional and personal tension. So when he returns, will he crash the celebration… or offer his congratulations?
Thomas Forrester’s return is bound to shake things up in the world of The Bold and the Beautiful. Are you ready?
