What a shocker? After a year of gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, tearjerking emotional performances, Bryan Dattilo didn’t even get pre-nominated for the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards? We can’t seem to understand why since his performance as Lucas Horton on ‘Days of Our Lives’ in 2017 was his best in years. With him getting heartbroken, his son coming back to life and struggling with a drinking problem – Dattilo was at the top of his game this year and should have been pre-nominated. Of course, the actor could have chosen not to submit for the pre-noms and that could be the reason his name is not on the list. Or, it could be the total opposite, he could have been snubbed, which we hope not! For whatever reason his name is absent from the list, we thought he was good enough and probably one of the most deserving actors of an Emmy this past year.
