Not only does Chavez star in one, but two exciting Ryan Murphy projects: Monsters: The Lyle & Erik Menendez Story on Netflix and Grotesquerie on FX. Since the series debuted, Chavez has generated significant buzz across social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok.
One edit of Chavez as Lyle Menendez in Monsters has totally blown up on TikTok, racking up an insane 52 million views! The video, titled “The Nicholas Chavez Edit,” is getting major love and even got the attention of the actor himself!
Made by a super fan named Aurelis, this edit went viral on TikTok. There’s even a clip showing a huge crowd—literally hundreds of people—packed into a college classroom who are captivated by the edit.
The former General Hospital actor renowned for his portrayal of Spencer Cassadine, has impressively amassed over 1.5 million followers on Instagram since the release of Monsters on Netflix on September 19th.
In a 2021 interview with Soap Opera News, Chavez discussed his background. “I was born in Houston, TX and raised in Denver, CO.” He continued, “I went to Denver East High School where I was heavily involved in theatre.
