The Young and the Restless’ Daniel Goddard (Cane) and Christel Khalil (Lily) are celebrating an amazing 11 year run as an onscreen duo this November. Viewers would remember that shortly after his debut as Cane in 2007, Goddard’s character first crossed paths with Khalil’s character in that same year. Instantly, there was some chemistry but they chose to remain friends at first because of their age difference. At the time Lily was 19 and Cane was 31 but they couldn’t deny the passion between them and hence started a romantic relationship. It was on Valentine’s Day in 2008 that they made love for the first time despite her father Neil (Kristoff St. John) being objective to their relationship. Despite their relationship troubles including unfaithfulness, miscarriage and so on the couple was happily married for a long period. And, they will celebrate their 11th anniversary this month as one of the greatest onscreen duos to ever hit the daytime screens.
