Y&R Recap for February 7, 2023: Elena Is Very Happy with Nate

The episode kicks off at the Abbott Mansion with Jack encouraging Diane to bring some of her stuff to the mansion. She worries about how Kyle would react but Jack advises her it’s nothing to worry about as long as they are discreet. They kiss then Jack heads out to run an errand. In her suite, Sally sets an appointment. When she hangs up the phone, she says she will call Nick and then she will call Adam. At Newman, Victoria remembers her kiss with Nate who is also remembering the kiss at home. As Elena comes in and greets him, he plants a hot steamy kiss on her before taking her up the stairs.

Nick startles Victoria at the office. She tells him that she was just thinking about the brainstorming session she had last evening with Nate. Chloe visits Sally. She tells Chloe about revealing the full truth to Nick. Elena tempts Nate to take a personal day from work but he has to go to work. He promises a romantic getaway with just the two of them on the weekend. Jack visits Victor. Victor jokes about hiding his silver and jewelry because of Jack’s thievery. Jack issues a stern warning to Victor. Victor implores him to go home and salvage his trainwreck of a relationship with Diane. Tessa pays Elena a visit. Elena questions her if everything is alright with the baby. Victoria wants Nick to open up to her but he refuses and declares that he will not talk to her about Sally.

Sally informs Chloe that a paternity test is set and all she has to do is get a swap from both Nick and Adam. Chloe advises her not to tell Adam just yet, but to do the test with Nick first and find out if he’s the father. If he is then Adam never has to know that there was a possibility that he could’ve been the father. Nick knocks on the door. Chloe lets him in and then leaves. Tessa shares with Elena, that the news that she and Mariah got was a false alarm because Delphine wasn’t actually going into Labor. As Victor and Jack exchange words, in comes Michael Baldwin. Jack tells Victor to stay out of Jabot’s affairs and leaves. Michael brings Victor information about Tucker, his loans, and his company debt. Diane runs into Tucker in the Grand Phoenix lobby with her bag packed ready to go back to the Abbott Mansion.

Tessa opens up to Elena about being totally unprepared for childbirth and motherhood. Tucker reaches o Ashley via the phone and leaves a voice message for her. Nate and Victoria run into each other at the office and talk about their previous meeting. Victoria wants to have more meetings like that. Chloe runs into Adam at Crimson Lights. Adam questions her about Sally.

Sally tells Nick about the paternity test. She notes that after talking with Chloe she has decided to only tell Adam if she has to. Nick says it’s up to her. Sally invites him to go with her to the paternity testing. Adam goes to Jack and informs him about Kyle sharing information about him with Victor. Victor and Michael want to discuss acquiring Tucker’s company. They want Nate to leave but Victoria believes Nate’s input would be an asset.
