Fareed Ward has officially joined the cast of The Young and the Restless! Under the show’s new regime, Ward has been cast in the role of Dr. Andrew Bishop, who is set to make his debut this November, according to TV Insider.
Dr. Andrew Bishop is introduced as a colleague of both Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox).
Ward’s casting marks the second major announcement under the show’s new co-head writers, Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor, coming right on the heels of the news that Tetona Jackson has joined the show as a recast for Devon’s ex-girlfriend, Roxanne Barrington.
Just like Jackson, Ward is set to make his official debut on the CBS daytime drama this November as the new writing regime’s material begins airing on November 11.
