Victor Forces a Betrayal While Jack Plots His Revenge
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has never been one to let a little thing like friendship or loyalty stand in his way—especially when his companies are on the line. He wants his empire back, and he’s ready to steamroll anyone to get it, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) be damned.
His current target is Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). Victor is putting the squeeze on him to do the dirty work, but Michael is understandably hesitant. Not only is his wife involved in this mess, but Phyllis is a long-time friend. Unfortunately, Victor doesn’t care about Michael’s moral dilemma and is forcing his hand to ensure he gets exactly what he wants.
While Victor is playing puppet master, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is busy cooking up a counter-strategy. Jack is still focused on repairing his fractured relationship with Diane (Susan Walters), but he’s also fueled by a need for payback. He blames Victor for his marriage being on the rocks, and he’s not going to take it lying down. Jack is ready to unveil a new plan of attack, and if it hits Victor where it hurts, all the better.
Legal Threats and Chaotic Returns
Genoa City is about to get even more uncomfortable for Phyllis. Cricket (Lauralee Bell) is officially in line to become the new DA, and she’s already issuing threats.
We all know the ugly history between these two women, so if Cricket gets that power back, Phyllis is in for a world of hurt. With Victor already plotting to make her pay for her recent stunts, having her arch-nemesis running the DA’s office is basically Phyllis’s worst nightmare come to life.
To make matters even more chaotic, Y&R spoilers for April 30 confirm that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is back in the mix, and she is already pushing Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) buttons. Her return has sent shockwaves through the Abbott clan, and it seems she’s not done stirring the pot just yet.
