Phyllis Plays Nice With Sharon
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has gone to great lengths to get what she wants.
Anyone who has been watching long enough knows there is a very long list of things Phyllis would do to get her way. And yes, that list can include doing questionable things to people she claims to love and care about.
Well, in this upcoming episode, Phyllis plays nice with Sharon (Sharon Case). But as Genoa City knows all too well, whenever Red acts sweet, she is almost certainly up to something!
Phyllis is desperate for Genoa City—and the rest of the world, if possible—to see Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in a brand-new light. She knows that rehabilitating his image is going to be a tough sell. Still, she isn’t giving up on the idea. What makes matters far worse is that she has already recruited Matt into the redemption strategy—and their bright idea is a complete disaster waiting to happen.
Their plan is to stage a crisis involving Sharon and then have Matt swoop in and rescue her.
According to them, if Matt saves Sharon, maybe people will start seeing him as a hero instead of the man they remember. But this is a soap opera. Do things ever go according to plan? Rarely.
Phyllis playing nice with Sharon may be completely in character, but Sharon isn’t exactly clueless. She could catch on to what Phyllis is really doing.
Audra Gives Billy a Reality Check
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for September 11 tease that Audra (Zuleyka Silver) gives Billy (Jason Thompson) a reality check.
Billy has already locked in some final wedding details with Sally (Courtney Hope), and things are looking good. They’re going to the chapel. They’re going to get married. At least, that’s the plan.
But Audra may know Sally better than almost anyone. After all, they’re best friends. If anyone can give Billy some honest advice about Sally and their relationship, it should be Audra.
Patty Comes Out of the Shadows
In another part of Genoa City, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) isn’t exactly a name we hear every day anymore.
After all, she was put in prison, so everyone should be safe and have nothing to worry about.
Except that’s about to change.
Patty is coming out of the shadows. And whenever Patty enters the picture, “safe” isn’t exactly the first word that comes to mind.
Her return could create problems for anyone who thought her story was firmly in the past. Do you think Sharon will figure out what Phyllis and Matt are really up to? And should Billy listen to Audra before he walks down the aisle with Sally?
