Lucas Adams and Shelby Wulfert Welcome Their First Child

Congratulations are in order for Lucas Adams and his real-life wife, Shelby Wulfert, as they have welcomed their first child. While Lucas has been part of the soap genre for many years, he has yet to play a father on screen.

However, The Young and the Restless actor, who currently plays Noah Newman, and his wife welcomed their son, Alonzo Brentley Adams, on February 4, 2026.

A Sweet Announcement and Baby Details

Back in a joint Instagram post shared in November 2025, the couple showed off Shelby’s baby bump along with ultrasound photos. They captioned the post by saying they could not be more excited about the news.

According to a report from Soap Opera Digest, baby Alonzo weighed 7 lbs, 13 oz, and measured 20 inches long.

From Co-Stars to Family Life

Throwing it back, Adams met actress Shelby Wulfert when they worked together on Liv and Maddie. The two began dating in October 2015 and announced their engagement in July 2021. Fast forward a bit, and the couple tied the knot on October 15, 2022. They married at the Chateau Hiddenwood estate in Waxahachie, Texas.

Lucas Adams currently plays Noah Newman on The Young and the Restless. While he and his wife are celebrating the joy of becoming first-time parents in real life, Noah’s love life on screen is a very different story. He is currently involved with an older woman, and things are far from smooth sailing. But this week, look for Noah to fight for the woman he loves by going the extra mile for Sienna

Outside of his work on the CBS daytime soap, Adams is also widely recognized for his role as Dr. Tripp Johnson on Days of Our Lives. Fans can catch him weekdays on CBS.

That being said, it is only fitting to take a moment to congratulate Lucas Adams and Shelby Wulfert on the birth of their son, Alonzo Brentley Adams.
