This Taylor Sheridan drama, featuring Zoe Saldaña and Laysla De Oliveira, received the green light for a second season from Paramount+ earlier this month. Season 1 is currently available for streaming on P+. Based on a real-life CIA program, Lioness follows the story of Cruz Manuelos, a spirited young Marine recruited to the CIA’s Lioness Engagement Team to infiltrate and dismantle a terrorist organization from within. Saldaña portrays Joe. Joe is the station chief of the Lioness program. She is responsible for training, overseeing, and leading her team of female undercover agents.
The series features an impressive cast including Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, and Hannah Love Lanier.
