Michelle Stafford is celebrating 30 remarkable years as Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless. In recognition of this impressive milestone, the show hosted an on-set celebration, bringing together the talented cast and crew. This special event took place on October 11, 2024, on the iconic set of the CBS daytime drama. Moreover, to further commemorate her three decades of excellence, the show is set to air a Phyllis-centric episode on October 18, 2024.
Ecstatic as she was, Stafford took to Instagram to share a couple behind the scenes photos of the celebration and quipped in her caption, “We had a thing. More pics to come.” The photos revealed a lovely setting as the set was decorated with balloons, magazine covers featuring Stafford, photos of her alongside her co-stars and leading men, and cupcakes with Stafford’s photo.
Joining the celebration were her real-life children, Natalia Stafford and Jameson Stafford.
Michelle Stafford originated the role of Phyllis from 1994–1997, then returned for another run 2000–2013 and has been in the part from 2019–present. Both Sandra Nelson and Gina Tognoni also played the role of Phyllis.
