Y&R Recap March 29, 2024: Today on The Young and the Restless – Victor reveals a plan to distract Nikki from her problems, Claire catches the eye of someone new, and Adam receives unsolicited advice from Nick.

Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 29, 2024:
Jack bumps into Tucker and is surprised to see him still in town. He suggests Tucker take a trip to France to meet the Glissade team face-to-face.
Tucker, however, proposes moving Glissade to Genoa City. The conversation then shifts to Ashley, and Jack cautions Tucker not to mistake her kindness for weakness.
Tucker shares his concerns about Ashley falling apart, but Jack is quick to defend his sister and accuses Tucker of speaking out of self-interest.
Despite Jack’s skepticism, Tucker insists that something isn’t right with Ashley, noting a drastic change in her behavior. He urges Jack to intervene and help her, but Jack is adamant that the family will take care of it and warns Tucker to steer clear of his sister.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 29, 2024:
At Society, Kyle tells Claire he’d really love to hear more about her. She says there’s a story about how a nice girl like her could do such horrible things.
She explains that it all started from birth—her entire life was controlled by her deranged aunt. Her aunt told her that her parents didn’t want her, and she believed it. Claire admits she still hates herself for all the things she’s done.
Victoria comes back and finds out Kyle was getting to know Claire a little better. She’s happy that her daughter is making friends in her age group. Cole comes asking if Victoria heard from her dad; they were both trying to reach her. He asks to speak to them privately, and Kyle opts to leave to get back to Harrison.
Claire notes that’s the reaction she was waiting for—for him to run. Kyle explains that he’s not running; he’s just giving them some privacy. After Kyle leaves, Cole reveals that Jordan has escaped, and Victoria and Claire wonder if they made a huge mistake confronting Jordan and if they caused this.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 29, 2024:
Victor is totally fuming on the phone at the office and tells Nick that Jordan managed to escape. Nick wonders how the heck that happened. And Victor reminds him that she burned down a freaking prison.
He regrets letting Nikki, Victoria, and Claire go see Jordan. Just then, Nikki bursts in and pleads with Victor to stop, saying it’s all her fault. Nick tries to reassure her, saying there was no way they could’ve known Jordan would escape again.
Nikki confesses that she had to leave the ranch because she was a nervous wreck after hearing about Jordan. She admits that, with Jordan on the loose, she’s tempted to have a drink. She asks Victor to make sure they find Jordan pronto, but in the meantime, she’ll find ways to cope. She’s planning to hit up an AA meeting right away and hopes Jack can join her.
Sally Goes to Nick
Nick is in the office when Sally pops in. He tells her that if she’s looking for Adam, he’s not there. But Sally notes that she is actually there to see him and Victor.
Nick points out that if it’s about Adam’s plan to get Newman to take on her design firm, now’s not the best time. Sally quickly notes that’s not why she stopped by, but she knows the family’s going through a rough time. However, she just wanted to tell them that Adam’s flying out with Chelsea to take Connor to the new facility.
She asks Nick to support him because he’s really struggling. Nick says it’s no problem. He suggests that they can take the Newman jet, and he’ll talk to his dad about it.
Sally wonders if the brothers are getting along, and Nick tells her they’re in a good space right now. He mentions that he disagrees with Adam about something and needs her help. He thinks Adam should be the one to tell Victor about Connor. But Nick promises to handle it.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 29, 2024:
Nick bumps into Adam at Crimson Lights. He tells him that he’s got the jet all set up for him. The crew’s good to go whenever he’s ready to take off. Adam is super grateful and appreciative.
Nick wishes there was more he could do because no parent should have to deal with this kind of diagnosis, and no kid should have to go through it. Adam’s worried about Chelsea and how she’s going to handle everything. Nick tells his brother not to go there. She’s going to need his support without the pressure of feeling like she’s going to fall apart.
Then Nick advises Adam to tell his father what’s going on before skipping town. Adam’s thankful for Nick being there for him, and Nick wishes him safe travels.
Young and Restless Y&R Recap March 29, 2024:
Nikki goes to an AA meeting and really pours her heart out about all the drama with Jordan. She totally gets emotional, and just then, Jack walks in. Nikki confesses that she sometimes wishes Jordan was dead.
Later, Jack follows her back to the ranch, and she’s so grateful. When Victor comes back home and finds out Jack made it to the meeting, he thanks him and says he’ll take it from there.
After Jack leaves, Victor asks Nikki if the meetings are too tough for her. She says no, but she’s scared of battling her own urge to drink. She’s worried it’ll get worse, but Victor promises they’ll fight it together, and he’s got a plan. Victor suggests they get out of town, and Nikki loves the idea.

Then Cole, Claire, and Victoria show up. Victor and Nikki announce they’re going on a trip—a little getaway—and they plan to throw a big party to celebrate their anniversary.
Jack gets home, and Kyle comes to him to talk about the argument with his mom. Jack tells him he already knows all about it, and he stops his son because he doesn’t want to get involved. Kyle’s confident he’ll sort it out.
