Sharon Case is once again the Performer of the Week for her outstanding work this week as Sharon Collins on The Young and the Restless. The Emmy-winning actress has been turning in back-to-back performances that have kept her in the spotlight.
This week, Sharon was racked with guilt over what she thought she did (but surprise surprise, she might not be guilty after all!). After an accident, Sharon became convinced that she caused Phyllis’s accident and felt there was no choice but to confess. To that end, she summoned Nick to her home, where she was emotional and broke down as she confessed to crimes he could not have imagined she’d committed. She admitted to causing Phyllis’s accident, as well as killing Heather and framing Daniel for the murder.
Case delivered an exceptional, gut-wrenching performance that showcased her talent at its peak, earning her the title of Soap Opera News’ Performer of the Week—congratulations are in order!
