She continues to wow daytime fans to this date with her outstanding portrayal of Carly Corinthos on “General Hospital” but that’s not where it all began for actress, Laura Wright. Back on August 1, 1997 Wright first made her way to the daytime screens originating the role of Cassie Layne Winslow on ‘Guiding Light’. The character of Cassie Layne Winslow was married to character such as; Rob Layne, Richard Winslow, Edmund Winslow and Joshua Lewis. She was the sister of Reva O’Neil and the mother of Tammy, R.J and Will Winslow. Wright remained a part of the show until November 3, 2005 where she moved on to ‘GH’ as a Carly recast.
