AlexAnn Hopkins has exited Days of our Lives as Joy Wesley.
Hopkins, who joined the cast of the Peacock soap opera and made her debut in October 2024, is off the canvas as Joy left for New York in the March 19 episode.
In the story, Joy recently discovered that she is pregnant with Alex’s baby. Rather than telling him the truth, she chose to lie to both him and Stephanie. Ultimately to keep her secret hidden, Joy decided to quit her job at Titan (a position she held for only one day) and return to be with her mom in New York. Will she be back in the future? Only time will tell!
Born on the Summer Solstice in the small, coastal community of Jacksonville Beach, FL, AlexAnn Hopkins is known for her work on Chicago P.D., Criminal Minds, Speechless, and more.
Hopkins attended preschool and elementary school while getting involved with Florida State School of Film projects. She spent two summers in NYC pursuing modeling and acting before being homeschooled in the 6th grade. Just before her 12th birthday, she and her mother moved to LA for her acting career.
