The acting community is mourning the loss of a beloved young actor who passed away after a battle with cancer. Chadwick Boseman, an American actor died at the age of 42 on August 28, 2020, in Los Angeles.
Boseman was born on November 29, 1977, in Anderson, South Carolina. He was apparently diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016 which later progressed to stage 4. He died in his home with his wife and family by his side!
Boseman is known for his portrayal of T’Challa / Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (since 2016), particularly in Black Panther (2018), and for his starring roles in as Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013), James Brown in Get on Up (2014), and Thurgood Marshall in Marshall (2017). He also starred in The Express (2008), Draft Day (2014), and Message from the King (2016).
Boseman is also credited with the role of Reggie Montgomery, a role he originated in 2003. We send our love and condolences to his family and friends!
