Cameron Mathison had been hard at work on an upcoming Hallmark Channel Original Movie titled “At home in Mitford”. The new original which is slated to make its premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday August 19, 2017 features Mathison in the role of Father Tim Kavanagh. The film also stars three-time Golden Globe Nominee Andie MacDowell who plays the role of Cynthia Copperstone.
The film tells the romantic tale of best-selling author Cynthia Copperstone who is a woman who’s learning that there is more to life and love than completing checklists. With her cat violet in town, Cynthia leaves Boston to spend some time in her late uncles’s small town of Mitford, North Caroline, in hopes of alleviating some career-damaging writer’s block. Cynthia soon finds the heart and soul of the southern town in Father Tim Kavanagh, a pastor in Mitford. As the pair works together to help a young boy, Dooley who has recently lost his father, Cynthia and Pastor Tim find solace, comfort and even romance.
The upcoming romantic drama is written by Margaret Overman and Pam Wallace. It is executive produced by Howard Braunstein and Andie MacDowell and directed by Gary Harvey. Of his role in the upcoming film Mathison tells Soap Opera Intel, “It was one of my favorite projects I’ve worked on.
