Soap Opera News has been hearing for weeks that Avery Kristen Pohl has concluded her role as Esme Prince on General Hospital. But now a report from Soap Opera Digest has confirmed the actress’ departure.
A GH spokesperson confirmed the news to Digest. Avery Pohl’s run concluded on January 31, when her character, along with Nicholas Chavez’s Spencer, was presumed deceased.
Avery Kristen Pohl made her debut on GH on August 16, 2021. She debuted on the ABC daytime drama in an episode as a nurse. The nurse was eavesdropping on Laura (Genie Francis), Ava (Maura West), and Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) conversation. She was later revealed to be Esme Prince, Spencer’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) girlfriend and partner in crime. She committed multiple crimes during her run.
