Ashley Morgan is still establishing herself romantically and otherwise in Fairmont Crest on Beyond the Gates, but in real life, portrayer Jen Jacob is gearing up for a huge milestone! The actress, who is married to singer-songwriter Jesse Ruben, announced that they are expecting their first child together, a baby girl due in March 2027.
Jen Jacob Announces She’s Expecting a Baby Girl
Taking to Instagram with sweet photos of the sonogram, Jacob wrote, “Mom & Dad have entered the chat. Baby girl coming March 2027.”
Naturally, her Beyond the Gates co-stars flooded the comment section to celebrate the heartwarming news. Arielle Prepetit (Naomi Hawthorne) cheered that she is going to be an auntie, while Mike Manning (Smitty) wrote that he absolutely cannot wait for the new arrival. Jasmine Burke (June) sent “Blessings on blessings,” Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) gushed her love for the baby girl, and RhonniRose Mantilla (Chelsea) celebrated the very first “BTG BABY!”
Additional congratulations poured in from castmates Jibre Hordges (Jacob), Timon Kyle Durrett (Bill), Najah Jackson (Samantha), Ellie Wang (Caroline), and Colby Nixon (Kat).
In real life, Jacob and Ruben—a Philadelphia-born, Brooklyn-based recording artist who even wrote and released the song “Future” inspired by their relationship and wedding—tied the knot at the Radnor Valley Country Club back in October 2018.
The happy couple actually just celebrated eight wonderful years of marriage! We want to send a huge congratulations to Jen and Jesse on their incoming bundle of joy!
