After everything that has gone down in Fairmont Crest, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) has had enough. Between Hayley’s (Marquita Goings) so-called mugging, Anita’s (Tamara Tunie) medical update, and Madison’s (Kenjah McNeil) malpractice lawsuit, her family has been through it in more ways than one.
It goes without saying that Chelsea never fully trusted Hayley, and all the whispers have only made her more suspicious. Deep down, she knows something is not right. So she corners Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and starts pressing him for answers. If he’s got something to say, now is the time to say it. Chelsea is not backing off until she gets the truth.
Mother Daughter Comfort
Meanwhile, it has been a tough stretch for the Dupree women, but things are finally starting to look up. Anita’s positive medical report has everyone breathing a little easier these days.
And in a rare and much-needed moment, Dani (Karla Mosley) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) come together and support each other. They are mother and daughter, after all.
Ashley’s Stress Levels Redline
Elsewhere, Ashley (Jen Jacob) already has more than enough on her plate, but things are about to get even more intense.
Jan (Jerri Tubbs) walks in, and just like that, everything shifts. Her mother has not been off the canvas for a moment, so it’s good to finally see her back. More importantly, it pushes Ashley’s stress to a whole new level. According to spoilers, Jan’s presence is about to do just that.
Three’s a Crowd for Nicole
At the same time, Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) finally find their way back to each other. For a moment, it looks like they might actually be on the same page again.
But that moment does not last long. Just as things start to settle, Kial (Greg Vaughan) shows up and changes the dynamic completely. Nothing complicates a reconciliation faster than an unexpected third wheel.
Vanessa Makes Herself Right at Home
Beyond the Gates spoilers for April 24 also tease that Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) is fully stepping into her new lifestyle. If you thought Vanessa was going to be shy about her new “mob wife” era, think again. She’s officially settling into Joey’s (Jon Lindstrom) condo and making herself comfortable—maybe a little too comfortable. Vanessa has been sliding into the shadier side of the DMV for a while now, and moving into Joey’s space is a massive power move.
