It has been one year since Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Ted’s (Keith D. Robinson) lives were completely upended. What was supposed to be a romantic anniversary celebration turned into a total nightmare when Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) crashed the party with a massive bombshell: Ted (Keith D. Robinson) is the father of her daughter. That revelation hit Nicole hard, and honestly, their marriage never really recovered.
Even though they are officially divorced now, they are determined to maintain the peace. This week, Ted and Nicole find themselves sharing a very close, quiet moment as they reflect on the years they spent together. However, they aren’t as alone as they think. Ted’s new girlfriend, Shanice (Ernestine Johnson), catches them in the act, and seeing that connection firsthand is definitely going to leave her feeling stung.
Leslie vs. The Duprees
Speaking of Leslie, she is clearly a woman on a mission, and she isn’t slowing down anytime soon. It feels like her full-time job is making life a living hell for the Duprees. Whatever scheme she’s cooking up this time, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) have finally had enough. Look for the two of them to confront Leslie.
Elsewhere, Madison (Kenjah) finds herself getting sidelined at work, which pushes her to step out of her comfort zone and try something new.
