What Happens on Beyond the Gates on June 17?
Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) is not the kind of man you want to cross—ask anyone who’s tried (and failed). Smooth, calculating, and always two steps ahead, Joey’s recent target has been Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). Sure, she’s clearly charmed (who wouldn’t be, with all that casino swagger?), but this guy doesn’t just do anything for romance.
Vanessa Hits a Crossroads
Joey’s got a plan and it’s not exactly innocent. While Vanessa flirts with the idea of something more, Joey’s working angles. His real mission is to use her real estate firm to clean some dirty money. And how is he going to make that happen? By tightening his grip on Doug (Jason Graham), Vanessa’s husband, dragging him deeper into gambling debt until Vanessa has no choice but to “help” out financially.
But now, Vanessa’s finally asking herself the hard question: what is she actually willing to give up for Doug? And what if the answer is…nothing?
Martin’s Dark Past
Meanwhile, Beyond the Gates spoilers for June 17 tease that Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) dark past is knocking loudly. Hallucinations are back, and they’re worse than ever. Whatever he did (and whenever he did it), it’s messing with his head.
Mysterious Kenny (Jason Vendryes) seems to know more than he’s letting on, and Martin’s spiraling fast. Luckily, Smitty’s (Mike Manning) stepping in to offer some tough love and encourage him to seek real treatment before things get worse.
A Stunning Confession
As for Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman), these two have been dancing around each other for weeks, but now they ready to make a stunning confession. Are they finally ready to admit there’s more going on than just casual hookups? Could this confession mean going public?
