Beyond the Gates Spoilers: Vanessa Opens Up to Joey
Next week on Beyond the Gates, the promo opens with Vanessa getting vulnerable with Joey.
She admits that sometimes she wonders if everything happening around her is even real.
“Sometimes I wonder if this is a dream that you wake up from.”
Joey, however, seems ready to take things a step further and pushes back.
He tells her they can find out right now.
So what exactly does he have in mind?
Dani Puts Nicole on the Spot
Meanwhile, over at the Country Club, Dani lightens the mood with a playful but pointed question for her sister, Nicole.
She asks if Carlton and Kial were cars, which one Nicole would drive for a hundred miles.
Nicole quickly insists it is not a competition.
But Dani is not letting it go that easily. She points out that it seems like her sister could keep both men, and that might not be far from the truth.
Anita Makes a Tough Choice
Elsewhere, Anita takes the next step in her cancer treatment.
She makes it clear that she wants to sign a do-not-resuscitate order, a decision that is sure to have a major emotional impact on her family.
At the same time, Vernon opens up to his daughters, Dani and Nicole.
He admits that he has never been able to stop Anita from doing what she wants, not even for a single day.
Jacob’s Mission Turns Dangerous
Closing out the preview, Jacob checks in with Smitty over the phone.
While still deep into his undercover mission, Jacob urges Smitty to listen to him, but Smitty is not backing down.
He reminds Jacob that they had an agreement. If things got out of hand or became too dangerous, they would pull the plug.
And now, in Smitty’s eyes, that moment has come.
Things have officially gotten dangerous. What will Jacob do?
