Come Between, Go Between

For girls who are such besties and ride-or-dies, Kat (Colby Nixon) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) sure squabble a lot.

First it was over Kat prepping to move out because she didn’t want to be a third wheel to about-to-be-marrieds Chels and Madison (Kenjah), then it was because Chelsea thought that Kat should, you know, actually save someone’s life, even if that someone was Eva (Ambyr Michelle).

Now Kat is pouting because Chelsea granted Eva the livestream about organ donation that Kat turned down. Looks like the usually level-headed Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is going to have to play mediator with her young fam.

Leslie (Tricia Mann-Grant) must have some sort of built-in radar, because there isn’t a camera or a microphone she won’t commandeer. In this case, it’s likely “Mama” will horn in on Eva’s livestream with Chelsea as if she underwent organ transplant surgery.

Leslie isn’t totally self-absorbed, though – she does talk up the free clinic a whole lot. Perhaps Leslie will work that into Eva’s chat with Chelsea somehow.

Noah (Nick Hagelin) would be smart to rethink working for the clinic with Leslie as a boss. But seriously – an unemployed musician from L.A. managing the place? At least dearly departed Derek (Ben Gavin) was a firefighter with enough know-how to get the clinic off the ground!

Meanwhile, champagne doesn’t usually produce anything but hangovers, but the particular bottle Andre (Sean Freeman) found on his door is enough for him to guiltily go running to Uncle Ted (Keith D. Robinson) for some conscience clearing! Will he be able to get a word in edgewise, though?

Unc’s probably on such a high from exchanging L-words with Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) that he’s not going to be able to get off the topic. Andre, Andre, Andre. What is that boy hiding?

It Must’ve Been Love

Elsewhere, Deanna (Angela Fairley) hasn’t had much to smile about lately, between her father’s death and her mission to keep Joey (Jon Lindstrom) from becoming a father figure in her life.

So will another encounter with the newly-arrived Noah turn that frown upside-down? And do we have a classic rich girl/poor boy romance brewing? It worked for Lily and Holden on As the World Turns…

What do you do when you’re happily juggling two hot men and extolling the virtues of non-exclusivity to anyone who’ll listen?

If you’re Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), you probably go to your “sissy” and complain about your ex moving on with his life. The smart money says that’s what Dani (Karla Mosley) is going to get an earful about as she’s asked to play counselor. Of course, if Nicole follows Dani’s example, she’ll be beating down desks with golf clubs and bringing firearms to the hospital!

Finally, Garland Memorial must be running low on oxygen from Shanice walking on so much air. After all her doubts, Ted finally added the hearts to the hearts and flowers.

This has Shanice contemplating the days ahead – but hold up, girl! Don’t go fantasizing about weddings yet, if that’s what you’re going to do! Not when Lulu Leslie still wants to stuff her TED-dy Bear and Naughty Nikki’s taking an open relationship break to front about her ex!
