Ashley Confides in Naomi
Ashley (Jen Jacob) is carrying a secret that is clearly weighing on her, but in a town like this, there’s usually only one person she can truly trust. She decides to turn to her best friend, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), to help shoulder the burden.
Despite the fact that Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) would much rather keep things under wraps—especially given the danger they’re all in if the wrong people find out—Ashley brings Naomi up to speed on Grayson’s stabbing. It’s a risky move, and if this information gets out, the consequences could be deadly for everyone involved.
Kat Digs for Dirt on Lynette
Meanwhile, Kat (Colby Nixon) has a lot of questions and absolutely zero trust when it comes to Lynette (Dominique Madison). Now that her beau is officially investigating the woman, Kat recognizes someone Lynette may have wronged in the past.
Determined to get the truth, Kat decides to question Lia (Cecelia Specht) about Lynette’s history. However, we already know that Lia is much more than meets the eye. Is she going to play it straight with Kat, or is she hiding secrets of her own that could send this investigation in a completely different direction?
A Bitter Anniversary for Nicole and Leslie
Elsewhere, things are about to get very uncomfortable as Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Leslie have an unpleasant reunion. This isn’t just any meeting; it’s the anniversary of the day Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) completely upended Nicole’s life.
Nicole hasn’t forgotten—and certainly hasn’t forgiven—how happy she and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) were until Leslie decided to blow their world apart. That bombshell at their anniversary party turned a celebration into a nightmare. One year later, the wounds are still fresh, and Nicole is making it clear that she isn’t ready to let the past stay in the past.
Power Struggles and Tensions
In other Beyond the Gates news for May 4, the tension between Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) is reaching a boiling point. The two are set to lock horns over Martin (Brandon Claybon), and when these two disagree, you know it’s going to be an explosive confrontation.
