Nicole and Carlton Meet Sunny
Nicole (Daphnee Duplaix) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) are officially heating up! She still isn’t quite ready to settle down with just one man, so she is continuing to balance her time between Kial (Greg Vaughan) and Carlton. On Friday, May 8, it’s Carlton’s turn in the spotlight. The two head out to Orphey Gene’s, where they run into a very special guest: Food Network star Sunny Anderson.
While Nicole is enjoying her night out, her sister Dani (Karla Mosley) is focused on her husband, Andre (Sean Freeman). The two find themselves in a playful mood as their imaginations run wild.
A Life-Changing Deal
Elsewhere, things have taken a terrifying turn in Fairmont Crest. Now that the illegal plasma ring has sent Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) a photo of Ashley (Jen Jacob) to prove she’s being watched, the danger is undeniable. Ashley already took a huge risk for Grayson by stealing antibiotics from Garland Memorial to save his life and putting her own career on the line.
In a desperate move, Grayson makes a life-changing deal on Friday. While Grayson is making his move, Smitty (Mike Manning) manages to uncover some critical intel that could change the direction of the entire investigation.
Clashes and Cousins
The tension between Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) isn’t going away anytime soon. The two continue to clash over Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant), who remains a constant thorn in their side. While Ted may still harbor some compassion for his ex, Shanice has reached her limit with Leslie’s constant button-pushing.
Elsewhere, Beyond the Gates spoilers for May 8 tease that Martin (Brandon Claybon) is taking a moment away from his political ambitions and family stress to catch up with his cousin.
