It is a tough time for Naomi (Arielle Prepetit).

Her husband is out there doing his best with this latest undercover investigation, and she cannot help but worry. She knows how dangerous that world can be, and deep down, there is a real fear that he might not make it home, even though he promised her he would.

Love Tested by Distance

What makes it even harder is the timing.

It is supposed to be a big day for them. Their anniversary. But instead of celebrating together, Naomi and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) are spending it apart, each reflecting on their journey from their first date to their wedding vows.

It really hits how much work and responsibility can put distance between two people, especially when all they want is to be together.

For Naomi, that reality is not easy to deal with. She is emotional, worried, and trying to stay strong all at once.

Thankfully, she is not alone. She leans on Ashley (Jen Jacob), Dani (Karla Mosley), and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) during this time, and that support may be exactly what she needs to get through it.

Izaiah Steps In

Beyond the Gates spoilers for April 6 also tease that Izaiah (Lami) steps up to help his brother.

The question is how.

Will he make some kind of important delivery or step in where Jacob cannot? However it plays out, it is clear Izaiah is ready to do his part, and that could make a difference in how things unfold.
