If you are a fan of The Bold and the Beautiful, which has been on the air for a little over 39 years, then you know that the show has often ventured out for on-location shoots.
Right now, a number of the leading cast members, including Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), Tanner Novlan (Finn), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke), Thorsten Kaye (Ridge), and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila), along with executive producer and head writer Bradley Bell, are in Monte Carlo for the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.
The Bold and the Beautiful Heads Back to Monte Carlo
This is not the first time the show has turned a trip into a location shoot. In fact, viewers may remember previous occasions, including the time Steffy and Finn reunited there. While the festival itself came to a close on June 16, Bell revealed that something big is on the way.
When a reporter at the event caught up with him, he shared some exciting news.
“Well, it’s a secret story,” he said of what’s coming up.
Of course, he is keeping pretty tight-lipped about the details. However, he did share, “But I can tell you that it involves Steffy, Sheila, all these actors here, Ridge, Brooke, and Finn, and there’s something that happens that changes their lives forever. I can’t reveal it, but it’s going to be good.”
A Beach, A Church, and Something Amazing
While on location, the EP said the show plans to film at a beach and at a church. He also promised, “It’s happy, and then something amazing happens.”
As aforementioned, the show has often made use of its visits to Monte Carlo by hosting on-location shoots. The last shoot there took place in 2024, when viewers were introduced to the new Taylor, played by soap veteran Rebecca Budig. At the time, Taylor spied on Ridge and Brooke before making her triumphant return to Los Angeles.
It will be fun to see what story ties all these characters together, especially since Sheila may be the odd one out, and considering that she doesn’t exactly get along with everybody, particularly Steffy.
You can watch The Bold and the Beautiful weekdays on CBS or catch up on the CBS website or the Paramount+ app.
