B&B Recap November 12: Bill Surprises His Son
At the beach house, Will is thrilled to learn that his parents are back together. Electra smiles, saying they really needed some good news. Bill adds that the day is about to get even better. He promises to be the kind of man Katie deserves, and the father Will deserves.
“Have I ever given you a house before?” Bill asks with a grin. He explains that’s why he wanted Will and Electra to meet him at the beach house, because he’s giving it to him.
Will is stunned and excited, but he can’t help reflecting that this is the very place where it all went down, where Luna tried to kill his brother.
Will and Electra Move Into the Beach House
Bill notes that the beach house is also the place where Liam saved the day. Katie agrees, saying it’s time they put the dark chapter with Luna behind them. Bill takes out a key and hands it to his son. Will hugs his parents tightly, telling them this is exactly what he needed right now.
Bill, Will, Electra, and Katie drink champagne to celebrate the move. Katie remarks that all they really want is for their son to be happy.
Electra suggests they should post something about this. Will agrees. He takes out his phone and snaps a photo of them, “hashtag new digs,” he says with a grin.
Open Mic at Il Giardino
At Il Giardino, Sheila sings Taylor’s praises, saying her marriage is back on track because of her and everything she did for Deacon.
Daphne walks in with Zende and Carter, and Taylor greets her warmly. Taylor says that Steffy told her about the open mic night and that Daphne would be singing—she just had to come hear it for herself. Carter chimes in, noting how incredible Daphne was the last time she performed.
Sheila says that Taylor is going to love it, not just the food, but Daphne’s singing too. Deacon kisses his wife and says he has to go get something done.
Before he leaves, Carter approaches and tells him he’s really wishing the best for Hope. Deacon nods, saying he knows, and then points out that it seems Carter is more than a little smitten with Daphne.
As it’s time for Daphne to take the stage, Carter’s excitement shows. He promises he’ll be right there, watching and supporting her every step of the way.
Deacon gets Taylor seated and then heads on stage to introduce Daphne. Daphne gets on the stage and wows the crowd, particularly Carter, who grins from ear to ear as she sings.
Meanwhile, Deacon and Taylor cannot stop locking eyes with each other. Taylor gets lost in a daydream of dancing in Deacon’s arms.
After the singing, everyone raves about Daphne’s performance. Carter tells her he’s enjoying getting to know her better, and Daphne smiles, saying there’s still so much more to discover.
Taylor starts to head out, but Sheila stops her, urging her to stay for the next performer. Taylor admits she would love to, but says she has to go.
Luna Wants to See Will
In prison, Luna looks at a picture of Will and quietly asks herself why he won’t come visit her.
A guard walks by and asks if Luna is talking to herself again. “Yes—what if I am?” Luna snaps back.
Luna stops the guard and asks if she can use her phone. She says she just wants to check social media and see how the man she loves is doing.
Luna says she just needs to see his face. It’s been so long and she just needs to know what he’s doing. She is hoping that he ended things with Electra. The guard takes out the phone but tells Luna she is not giving it to her. She checks for Will’s profile and shows Luna, who is heartbroken to learn that Will is moving in with Electra.
Hope Opens up to Steffy
At the office, Hope opens up to Steffy about the family therapy session with Taylor. She admits she still believes her dad deserves better than Sheila.
Hope admits that she and her brother are hoping Taylor will help their dad find a sense of clarity. She insists that Sheila isn’t the right woman for him. In fact, Hope believes there’s someone else out there who’s truly meant for her father.
Hope says she has to get down to the sewing room, but before she leaves, Steffy admits she knows Hope was hoping Taylor would convince her dad to leave Sheila. Steffy asks if Hope is blaming her mom, but Hope quickly explains that’s not the case; after all, she knows exactly how Taylor feels about Sheila.
Hope highlights that therapy has been good for her dad. She’s seen a real positive change since he started seeing her mom.
She can’t help but notice that there’s something different about her dad, perhaps it’s Taylor’s influence.
